Welcome to Orlando the prime tourism area and the largest and most
populated city in Florida. Circulating 52 million tourists yearly the
area is full of family friendly theme parks and attractions built
conveniently in one area. Orlando is home to many of the lakes in
central Florida, so access to the water is simple, and many tour boats
are offered.
The
largest attraction in the Orlando area is Disney World, with four theme
parks Disney has been a main attraction for visiting tourists for over
fifty years. Disney World is compromised of six theme parks, Magic
Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom and two water parks.
Each park has its own array of rides and its own theme; Magic Kingdom
hosts the original Disney characters like Micky Mouse, Cinderella,
Beauty and the Beast and many others. Epcot is a demonstration of future
technology, rides are based off some of the most amazing human
inventions of our time; this includes riding in a rocket shuttle,
speeding around a test track at incredible speeds in a car, and view the
future of agriculture. Hollywood studios follows the movie stars as you
join the actors in incredible adventures into the movies, follow Indiana
Jones, the Star Wars crew and many others into their movies and
eye-popping stunt shows! Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a zoo adventure!
Filled with rides, animals, shows and more this theme park is for the
ultimate animal lovers. Disney also hosts two large water parks, both
Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard beach are fun for the whole family on any
hot days! Both water parks come equipped with wave pools, water slides,
tubing and rafting, take a dip when the sun comes out!
Islands
of Adventure consists of five “islands” which is to say the park holds
five separate areas with their own themes. The first being Marvel super
hero’s with rides such as Spiderman, X-men, the Hulk and many others.
The second island is the Toon Lagoon and is a more child friendly area,
featuring characters from the King Features Syndicate and Jay Ward. The
third area is the Jurassic Park area with huge dinosaurs and soaring
rides! If you follow the tour schedule you might actually get to meet a
dinosaur yourself! Enter the fourth zone know as the lost continent,
where ancient lost civilizations are the theme, with characters from
mythological Greece and medieval Europe you will be asking yourself,
“Where am I?” And the final zone is Seuss Landing with everything Dr,
Seuss could dream… or rather rhyme of you will be standing at the edge
sanity and step into a world of carpet animals and Things and Mings and…
well you get the point!
Do
you love the sea? Do the oceans sea life fascinate you? Well if it does
then your going to enjoy this, and if it doesn’t fascinate you SeaWorld
will give you a show that will cause you to be fascinated. With huge
whales and dolphins, walruses and other sea life the fun never stops!
SeaWorld is home to some of the most amazing displays of water
entertainment, with a large array of daily shows, rides and water
attractions you fill find yourself soaked in entertainment.
Wet ‘n Wild is a large water park in the Orlando area that has large
spacious wave pools, fun watery playgrounds. With many rides including
some that take place completely in the dark the water park is considered
one of the greatest parks in the area. Hosting a large array of water
slides, raft rides and mat races the park is fun for the whole family.
Orlando Florida is full of hotels and resorts, because of the massive
amount of tourists each year the area is full easy to book
accommodations. Some of the resorts that allow easy access to theme
parks are located inside Disney World.
